Taman sari , Jogja

Well we hired the so call interpreter for this two places . Reason ; I did not read about the history of the both places so I find that rp100,000 is reasonable to pay ! :p

Taman Sari dibangun pada masa Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I, pembangunan dimulai pada tahun 1758 M dan selesai pada tahun 1765 M.

Borobudur ; Yokyarta

Loving it !  The inauguration date of the latest round of restoration efforts at Borobudur in 1972..

I wonder Y is not in the list of 21wonder ...

Terletak di dekat pusat geografi Pulau Jawa di Asia Tenggara,dan ditemui semula pada awal abad ke-19. Setanding saiz piramid Mesir di Saqqara, struktur membingungkan ini mengandungi lebih daripada 1.6 juta blok batu dan langkah-langkah lebih daripada 400 kaki .. Langkahnya sangat besar - and i kept telling myself orang dulu sure besar gila !
And they have 72 stupa (bentuk cam loceng )and inside the stupa is all the Buddha statue.

*** how true or just mitos I tak tahu but the uncle who brought us ; dalam 72 stupa ada satu statue perempuan cantik. Kat situ kita bleh make a wish ala ala tivoli fountain in rome. Baling coin and make a wish . But i don't do that..
Ironinya tempat ini adalah temple for buddhist . The celebration is during wesak day.

 Borobudur menyimpan misteri berapa lama ia dibina dan berapa banyak sangat pada buruh dan pekerja ia memerlukan, mengapa tepat ia dibina, dan mengapa tepat ia dikebumikan tidak berasas selama berabad-abad.
Diorang amek masa selama 75 tahun untuk siapkan borobudur ini . Beautiful places !

p/s:new poll result of Seven Wonders of the World, in which Borobudur is not included. It did not even manage the shortlist of 21 out of 77 sites. Sad but true..But If u been there U will wonder why Borobudur not in the list !
